About Block Island Coffee

Block Island Coffee was inspired by a sister sailor who grew her coffee business in Tortola. We met while sailing with our small children 15+ years ago. The first beans that I roasted I purchased from her.. my love of coffee was researched as I circumnavigated the world with my children and was-band. After my divorce my business ventures expanded. Last year I started selling Block Island Coffee on Block Island at the local farmers market. This winter I built a website and found a mainland roaster to work with in order to provide larger demands..this year I hope to expand my retail business to include selling wholesale to cafes, grocery stores and other larger markets. I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have. My philosophy is to sell coffee with a conscience. My coffee is sustainably sourced, economically priced, and tailored to the taste of a gourmet.
