Coffee News August 31, 2020

Well, we can't fight Mother Nature! Due to the rains on Saturday, we were not at the  Farmers Market on Block Island. I unpacked and packed the truck twice, but the deluge won. Hopefully, we will have great weather over Labor Day weekend next week and you will find us at our usual spot near the Scones and Stones ladies!

But all was not lost as I used that time to prepare some new things! I am happy to introduce two new offerings to the Block Island Coffee catalog.

First, for those who love the taste of our coffee, but prefer no caffeine, we are introducing Decaf. Available in both whole bean and ground, this is perfect for late afternoon or evening pick me ups without the worry of being kept up too late!

The next offering to keep an eye out for is....Cinnamon Hazelnut! A lovely flavored coffee that will add a homey feeling this Fall and Winter.

Did you know that we have a wonderful online market that supports Rhode Island Small Businesses? WhatsGood connects hundreds of thousands of people across the country with local, nutrient dense, food in safe and convenient ways...and they service Rhode Island! WhatsGood delivers to the Block Island Ferry Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For just a $10 delivery fee, you can get everything you would get at a farmers market plus more (including fine wines and fine coffee 😊) Try it today!
Did you miss this past week's Where's Winston feature on social media? Winston visited Red Bird Liquor Store on Block Island, which was first owned by Mr Day and has been around since before Prohibition!
As summer winds down, here's a reminder to enjoy yourself! Once again, we raise our mugs to you all this week.

Please follow our social accounts for information on events, our coffees, and to enjoy our new 'Where's Winston" feature! We also post where to get our delicious coffee!

With Gratitude,
Thank you for supporting my small business, I couldn't do this without you!
